ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਃ ੫ ॥ Dhanaasree mehlaa 5. Raag Dhanasri, Fifth Guru: ਸੋ ਕਤ ਡਰੈ ਜਿ ਖਸਮੁ ਸਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰੈ ॥ so kat darai je khasam samHaarai. Why that person should he be afraid of anything who always remembers God? ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਾਈ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ,ਉਹ ਕਿਤੇ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਡਰਦਾ। ਡਰਿ ਡਰਿ ਪਚੇ ਮਨਮੁਖ

ਅਉਖਧ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਮੂਲ ਮਨ ਏਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਬਿਸ੍ਵਾਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਧਾਰਿਆ ॥ a-ukhaDh mantar mool man aykai man bisvaas parabh Dhaari-aa. The primal mantra of God’s Name is the only cure for the mind; one who has reposed faith in God in his mind, ਮਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ ਮੰਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ
ਨਿਮਖ ਨਿਮਖ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਹੁ ਹਮ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਧਾਰੇ ॥੧॥ nimakh nimakh tum hee partipaalahu ham baarik tumray Dhaaray. ||1|| It is You who sustain us at every moment and we, the children, survive on Your support. ||1|| ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਇਕ ਇਕ ਛਿਨ ਸਾਡੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਅਸੀਂ ਬੱਚੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਜੀਊਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ

O’ brother, You are doing such deeds which would bring You shame in God’s presence. ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਨ੍ਹੀਂ ਕੰਮੀਂ ਤੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਂਗਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਕੰਮਾਂ
ਅਲੰਕਾਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਥੈਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਤਾ ਤੇ ਕਨਿਕ ਵਖਾਨੀ ॥੩॥ alankaar mil thailee ho-ee hai taa tay kanik vakhaanee. ||3|| just as gold ornaments when melted down become a single lump, which is still described as gold, similarly I feel myself and others as part of the same one primal source, God. ||3|| ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ
