ਜਗਤ ਉਧਾਰਨ ਸਾਧ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਲਾਗਹੁ ਪਾਲ ॥ jagat uDhaaran saaDh parabh tinH laagahu paal. O’ God, Your saints are the saviors of the world from vices, therefore I seek their refuge. ਹੇ ਸਾਈਂ! ਤੇਰੇ ਸੰਤ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਣ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈਦਾਂ
ਸ੍ਰਮੁ ਕਰਤੇ ਦਮ ਆਢ ਕਉ ਤੇ ਗਨੀ ਧਨੀਤਾ ॥੩॥ saram kartay dam aadh ka-o tay ganee Dhaneetaa. ||3|| Those who were working hard for every penny, are counted amongst very wealthy. ||3|| ਜੇਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅੱਧੀ ਅੱਧੀ ਕੌਡੀ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਧੱਕੇ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਦੌਲਤ-ਮੰਦ ਧਨਾਢ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩॥ ਕਵਨ ਵਡਾਈ ਕਹਿ ਸਕਉ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਗੁਨੀਤਾ

ਸੰਤ ਕਾ ਮਾਰਗੁ ਧਰਮ ਕੀ ਪਉੜੀ ਕੋ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਪਾਏ ॥ sant kaa maarag Dharam kee pa-orhee ko vadbhaagee paa-ay. The true saint’s way of living is like a ladder leading to righteousness and only a rare fortunate person understands this. ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਰਸਤਾ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਪਉੜੀ ਹੈ। ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ (ਇਹ ਪਉੜੀ) ਲੱਭਦਾ ਹੈ।
