ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਮਾਇਆ ਪਾਛੈ ਪਾਵੈ ॥ taripat na aavai maa-i-aa paachhai paavai. He keeps on amassing wealth, but is never satiated. ਮਾਇਆ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਕਰੀ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਪਰ) ਰੱਜਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ। ਅਨਿਕ ਭੋਗ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਕੇ ਕਰੈ ॥ anik bhog bikhi-aa kay karai. He enjoys many pleasures of Maya, ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਮੌਜਾਂ ਮਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਨਹ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਵੈ
ਨਾਨਾ ਰੂਪ ਜਿਉ ਸ੍ਵਾਗੀ ਦਿਖਾਵੈ ॥ naanaa roop ji-o savaagee dikhaavai. Like a performer, he is seen assuming various disguises. ਬਹੁ-ਰੂਪੀਏ ਵਾਂਗ ਕਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਖਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਉ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਵੈ ਨਚਾਵੈ ॥ bji-o parabh bhaavai tivai nachaavai. As it pleases God, He makes the mortal dance accordingly. ਜਿਉਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ
ਅੰਤੁ ਨਹੀ ਕਿਛੁ ਪਾਰਾਵਾਰਾ ॥ ant nahee kichh paaraavaaraa. There is no end or limitation of His power. (ਉਸ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ) ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਹੱਦ-ਬੰਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਹੁਕਮੇ ਧਾਰਿ ਅਧਰ ਰਹਾਵੈ ॥ hukmay Dhaar aDhar rahaavai. ਕਈ ਕੋਟਿ ਦੇਵ ਦਾਨਵ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਸਿਰਿ ਛਤ੍ਰ ॥ ka-ee kot dayv daanav indar sir chhatar. Many millions are the angles, demons and Indras, under their regal canopies. ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਤੇ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਹਨ; ਸਗਲ ਸਮਗ੍ਰੀ ਅਪਨੈ ਸੂਤਿ ਧਾਰੈ ॥ sagal samagree apnai soot Dhaarai. ਤਿਸ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਤਿ ਰਾਮਦਾਸੁ ॥ tis kaa naam sat raamdaas. his name is truly Ram Das, the servant of God. ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਅਸਲੀ ਅਰਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ‘ਰਾਮਦਾਸੁ’ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਸੇਵਕ) ਹੈ; ਆਤਮ ਰਾਮੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਨਦਰੀ ਆਇਆ ॥ aatam raam tis nadree aa-i-aa. Such a devotee realizes the all pervading God. ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਿੱਸ
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਆਪਿ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ॥ barahm gi-aanee aap nirankaar. The God-conscious person himself is the (embodiment of) Formless God. ਬ੍ਰਹਮਗਿਆਨੀ (ਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੱਖ) ਆਪ ਹੀ ਰੱਬ ਹੈ। ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਬਨੀ ॥ barahm gi-aanee kee sobhaa barahm gi-aanee banee.
