ਪੁਛਾ ਦੇਵਾਂ ਮਾਣਸਾਂ ਜੋਧ ਕਰਹਿ ਅਵਤਾਰ ॥ puchhaa dayvaaN maansaaN joDh karahi avtaar. if I ask the gods, the mortals and those created as warriors by God, ਜੇਕਰ ਮੈਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਇਨਸਾਨਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਰਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਸੁਆਲ ਕਰਾਂ, ਸਿਧ ਸਮਾਧੀ ਸਭਿ ਸੁਣੀ ਜਾਇ ਦੇਖਾਂ ਦਰਬਾਰੁ ॥ siDh samaaDhee sabh sunee jaa-ay daykhaaN darbaar.
ਕੁੰਗੂ ਚੰਨਣੁ ਫੁਲ ਚੜਾਏ ॥ kungoo channan ful charhaa-ay. He applies mark of saffron and sandalwood to them and offers flowers, ਕੇਸਰ ਚੰਦਨ ਦਾ ਟਿਕਾ ਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਫੁੱਲ (ਉਸ ਮੂਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ) ਭੇਟ ਧਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪੈਰੀ ਪੈ ਪੈ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਮਨਾਏ ॥ pairee pai pai bahut manaa-ay. and tries to please these Idols by falling
ਭੈ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਬਿਨਸਿ ਗਏ ਖਿਨ ਮਾਹਿ ॥ bhai bharam binas ga-ay khin maahi. Their fears and doubts are destroyed in an instant, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਡਰ ਸਹਿਮ ਇਕ ਖਿਨ ਵਿਚ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਵਸਿਆ ਮਨਿ ਆਇ ॥੧॥ paarbarahm vasi-aa man aa-ay. ||1|| because the Supreme God has manifested in their minds. ||1|| ਕਿਉਂਕੇ
ਗੁਨ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਉਚਾਰੁ ਰਸਨਾ ਟੇਵ ਏਹ ਪਰੀ ॥੧॥ gun gopaal uchaar rasnaa tayv ayh paree. ||1|| similarly, the tongue which becomes habitual to sing God’s praises, cannot live without it. ||1|| ਏਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਉਚਾਰਨਾ ਜਿਸ ਜੀਭ ਦੀ ਆਦਤ ਹੀ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਜੀਭ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਰਹਿ ਨਹੀਂ
ਮੇਰੈ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਹੋਇ ਵਿਗਾਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਿਉ ਪ੍ਰਿਉ ਸਚੁ ਨਿਤ ਚਵਾ ਰਾਮ ॥ mayrai antar ho-ay vigaas pari-o pari-o sach nit chavaa raam. A great delight wells up within me and I always keep reciting the Name of the eternal God with adoration. ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਖਿੜਾਉ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ
ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਏਕੰਕਾਰੁ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਭੁ ਜਗਤੁ ਜਿੰਨਿ ਉਪਾਇਆ ॥ har simar aikankaar saachaa sabh jagat jinn upaa-i-aa.
