Then he started meditating and contemplating on God’s Name and realized his prordained good fortunate. ਉਹ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਉਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ
ਕਲਿਜੁਗੁ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਆ ਪਗ ਤ੍ਰੈ ਖਿਸਕੀਆ ਪਗੁ ਚਉਥਾ ਟਿਕੈ ਟਿਕਾਇ ਜੀਉ ॥ kalijug har kee-aa pag tarai khiskee-aa pag cha-uthaa tikai tikaa-ay jee-o. ਸਫਲੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਸਰੀਰੁ ਸਭੁ ਹੋਆ ਜਿਤੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਰਗਾਸਿਆ ॥ safal janam sareer sabh ho-aa jit raam naam pargaasi-aa. When God’s Name became manifest in them, their entire body and human birth became fruitful. ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜਨਮ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਭੀ ਸਫਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਜਦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਚਮਕ
ਗੁਰਮੁਖੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਦਰੀ ਰਾਮੁ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਰਾਮ ॥ gurmukhay gurmukh nadree raam pi-aaraa raam. It is through the Guru’s teachings that a Guru’s follower is able to realize God. ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਸ (ਵਡ-ਭਾਗੀ) ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਿੱਸ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਜਗਤ ਨਿਸਤਾਰਾ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥ raam

ਧਾਵਤੁ ਥੰਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਿਆ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਐ ਦਸਵਾ ਦੁਆਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ Dhaavat thamiH-aa satgur mili-ai dasvaa du-aar paa-i-aa.
