ਸੂਹੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ Raag soohee 5th Guru. Raag Soohee, Fifth Guru: ਦੀਨੁ ਛਡਾਇ ਦੁਨੀ ਜੋ ਲਾਏ ॥ deen chhadaa-ay dunee jo laa-ay. One whom God withdraws from the path of righteousness and attaches him totally to Maya, the worldly riches and power, ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਮ-ਧਨ ਵਿਹਾਝਣ ਵਲੋਂ ਹਟਾ ਕੇ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਧਨ

ਕਰਣਹਾਰ ਕੀ ਸੇਵ ਨ ਸਾਧੀ ॥੧॥ karanhaar kee sayv na saaDhee. ||1|| You are our creator but we don’t perform your devotional worship. ||1|| ਤੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਅਸੀਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ-ਭਗਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ॥੧॥ ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਮਾਰੇ ॥ patit paavan parabh naam tumaaray. O’ God, Your very Name is the purifier
ਖਿਨੁ ਰਹਨੁ ਨ ਪਾਵਉ ਬਿਨੁ ਪਗ ਪਾਗੇ ॥ khin rahan na paava-o bin pag paagay. I cannot spiritually survive even for an instant without beholding my husband-God. ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਈਂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋਣ ਬਗੈਰ ਇਕ ਮੁਹਤ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦੀ। ਹੋਇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮਿਲਹ ਸਭਾਗੇ ॥੩॥ ho-ay kirpaal parabh milah sabhaagay.
