ਜਿਉ ਜਿਉ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਕੀ ਤਿਉ ਤਿਉ ਰਾਮ ਨਿਵਾਸ ॥੧੪੧॥ ji-o ji-o bhagat kabeer kee ti-o ti-o raam nivaas. ||141|| The more they worship God with devotion, the more and more they feel firmly that He resides within them. ||141|| ਜਿਉਂ ਜਿਉਂ ਉਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਿਉਂ ਤਿਉਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ
ਕਬੀਰ ਚੁਗੈ ਚਿਤਾਰੈ ਭੀ ਚੁਗੈ ਚੁਗਿ ਚੁਗਿ ਚਿਤਾਰੇ ॥ kabeer chugai chitaarai bhee chugai chug chug chitaaray. O’ Kabir, while pecking at its feed a flamingo is remembering its chicks (which it has left behind), yes it keeps pecking and remembering its chicks; ਹੇ ਕਬੀਰ! ਕੂੰਜ ਚੋਗਾ ਚੁਗਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਭੀ ਚੇਤਾ
ਆਪ ਡੁਬੇ ਚਹੁ ਬੇਦ ਮਹਿ ਚੇਲੇ ਦੀਏ ਬਹਾਇ ॥੧੦੪॥ aap dubay chahu bayd meh chaylay dee-ay bahaa-ay. ||104|| Such false saints not only have drowned themselves in the rituals of four Vedas, they have even gotten their followers washed away in the same. ||104|| ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਆਪ ਭੀ ਚਹੁੰਆਂ ਵੇਦਾਂ (ਦੇ ਕਰਮ-ਕਾਂਡ) ਵਿਚ ਡੁੱਬੇ ਹੋਏ
ਕਬੀਰ ਥੋਰੈ ਜਲਿ ਮਾਛੁਲੀ ਝੀਵਰਿ ਮੇਲਿਓ ਜਾਲੁ ॥ kabeer thorai jal maachhulee jheevar mayli-o jaal. O’ Kabir, the fish that is living in the shallow water, is easily caught in the net of the fisherman. ਹੇ ਕਬੀਰ! ਥੋੜ੍ਹੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ ਮੱਛੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਝੀਊਰ ਆ ਕੇ ਜਾਲ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ| ਇਹ ਟੋਘਨੈ ਨ ਛੂਟਸਹਿ
ਐਸੇ ਮਰਨੇ ਜੋ ਮਰੈ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਨ ਮਰਨਾ ਹੋਇ ॥੨੯॥ aisay marnay jo marai bahur na marnaa ho-ay. ||29|| One who breaks his love for Maya (worldly attachments by singing God’s praises in the holy congregation), does not ever die from the fear of death. ||29|| ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਿਊਂਦਾ
ਲੈ ਫਾਹੇ ਉਠਿ ਧਾਵਤੇ ਸਿ ਜਾਨਿ ਮਾਰੇ ਭਗਵੰਤ ॥੧੦॥ lai faahay uth Dhaavtay se jaan maaray bhagvant. ||10|| and holding nooses in their hands, they run around in search of victims but rest assure that such evil people are accursed by God. ||10|| ਫਾਹੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ (ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਲੁੱਟਣ ਲਈ) ਤੁਰ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ
ਸਾਗਰ ਮੇਰ ਉਦਿਆਨ ਬਨ ਨਵ ਖੰਡ ਬਸੁਧਾ ਭਰਮ ॥ saagar mayr udi-aan ban nav khand basuDhaa bharam. Roaming around the seas, mountains, wilderness, forests, and all the nine regions of the earth: ਸਮੁੰਦਰ, ਪਰਬਤ, ਜੰਗਲ, ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਭ੍ਰਮਣ, ਮੂਸਨ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਿਰੰਮ ਕੈ ਗਨਉ ਏਕ ਕਰਿ ਕਰਮ ॥੩॥ moosan paraym piramm kai gan-o ayk kar karam.
