ਰਾਜਨ ਕਉਨੁ ਤੁਮਾਰੈ ਆਵੈ ॥ raajan ka-un tumaarai aavai. O’ king (Daryodhan), why would anybody come to your house (where there is exhibition of arrogance, rather than love? ਹੇ ਰਾਜਾ (ਦੁਰਜੋਧਨ)! ਤੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਕੌਣ ਆਵੇ? (ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਖਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ)। ਐਸੋ ਭਾਉ ਬਿਦਰ ਕੋ ਦੇਖਿਓ ਓਹੁ ਗਰੀਬੁ ਮੋਹਿ ਭਾਵੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
ਕਹੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਜੋ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਨੇ ਸੁੰਨ ਰਹਿਆ ਲਿਵ ਸੋਈ ॥੪॥੪॥ kaho kabeer jo naam samaanay sunn rahi-aa liv so-ee. ||4||4|| Kabir says, one who merges in Naam, remains focused on God. ||4||4||. ਕਬੀਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ- ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਅਫੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਰਤ ਜੋੜੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੪॥ ਜਉ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹ
ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਗਤਿ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਨੀ ਕੈਸੇ ਉਤਰਸਿ ਪਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ raam naam kee gat nahee jaanee kaisay utras paaraa. ||1|| You have not understood the spiritual state attained by remembering God’s Name, so how would you swim across the worldly ocean of vices? ||1|| ਤੂੰ (ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਕਿਵੇਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘੇਂਗਾ? ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਹੀ
ਗਿਆਨੁ ਰਾਸਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਨੁ ਸਉਪਿਓਨੁ ਇਸੁ ਸਉਦੇ ਲਾਇਕ ॥ gi-aan raas naam Dhan sa-opi-on is sa-uday laa-ik. God has blessed me with the commodity of divine knowledge and the wealth of Naam, and has made me worthy of trading this commodity . ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣ-ਪਛਾਣ ਦੀ ਪੂੰਜੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ-ਧਨ ਸੌਂਪ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ,
