ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਵਿਚਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਹੈ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਕਹੈ ਕਹਾਇ ॥ satgur vich amrit naam hai amrit kahai kahaa-ay. ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਸਭੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਹੈ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਮੋਹ ਮਾਇ ॥ bin naavai sabh dukh hai dukh-daa-ee moh maa-ay. Everything without remembering God’s Name is the source of sorrow, and love for Maya is nothing but misery. ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਮੋਹ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰਾ (ਉੱਦਮ) ਦੁਖ (ਦਾ ਹੀ ਮੂਲ) ਹੈ।
