ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਧਿਆਈ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਇਆ ॥ aath pahar paarbarahm Dhi-aa-ee sadaa sadaa gun gaa-i-aa. Now I lovingly remember God and keep singing His praises at all times. ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਅੱਠੇ ਪਹਰ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ
ਗਾਵਤ ਸੁਨਤ ਦੋਊ ਭਏ ਮੁਕਤੇ ਜਿਨਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਖਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਪੀਕ ॥੧॥ gaavat sunat do-oo bha-ay muktay jinaa gurmukh khin har peek. ||1|| Both the singers and the listeners of God’s praises, who partook the elixir of God’s Name even for an instant, got liberated from the vices. ||1|| ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ
