ਸਚ ਬਿਨੁ ਭਵਜਲੁ ਜਾਇ ਨ ਤਰਿਆ ॥ sach bin bhavjal jaa-ay na tari-aa. ਸਰਬ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਸੁਜਾਨਾ ॥ sarab niranjan purakh sujaanaa. In spite of residing in all, the all-wise God is free from the effect of materialism, ਉਹ ਸੁਜਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਭ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਭੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ, ਅਦਲੁ ਕਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਗਿਆਨ ਸਮਾਨਾ ॥ adal karay gur gi-aan samaanaa. and He always
ਤੂ ਦਾਤਾ ਹਮ ਸੇਵਕ ਤੇਰੇ ॥ too daataa ham sayvak tayray. O’ God! You are the benefactor and we are Your devotees, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਅਸੀਂ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਹਾਂ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਦੀਜੈ ਗੁਰਿ ਗਿਆਨ ਰਤਨੁ ਦੀਪਾਇਆ ॥੬॥ amrit naam kirpaa kar deejai gur gi-aan ratan deepaa-i-aa.

ਵਰਨ ਭੇਖ ਨਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਣ ਖਤ੍ਰੀ ॥ varan bhaykh nahee barahman khatree. Then there were neither casts like Brahmin or Khattri, nor the holy garbs of the different sects of yogis. ਤਦੋਂ ਨਾਹ ਕੋਈ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਖੱਤ੍ਰੀ ਆਦਿਕ ਵਰਨ ਸਨ ਨਾਹ ਕਿਤੇ ਜੋਗੀ ਜੰਗਮ ਆਦਿਕ ਭੇਖ ਸਨ। ਦੇਉ ਨ ਦੇਹੁਰਾ ਗਊ ਗਾਇਤ੍ਰੀ ॥ day-o na dayhuraa ga-oo
ਸਭੁ ਕੋ ਬੋਲੈ ਆਪਣ ਭਾਣੈ ॥ sabh ko bolai aapan bhaanai. Everyone speaks as they please. ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਜਿਸ ਤਰਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਗੱਲਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮਨਮੁਖੁ ਦੂਜੈ ਬੋਲਿ ਨ ਜਾਣੈ ॥ manmukh doojai bol na jaanai. Being swayed by duality (the love for materialism), the self-willed person does not know how to
