ਪਰਬਤੁ ਸੁਇਨਾ ਰੁਪਾ ਹੋਵੈ ਹੀਰੇ ਲਾਲ ਜੜਾਉ ॥ parbat su-inaa rupaa hovai heeray laal jarhaa-o. ਸੋਭਾ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਸੁਹਾਵਣੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਤੀ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਇਆ ॥੨॥ sobhaa surat suhaavanee jin har saytee chit laa-i-aa. ||2|| The intellect of the person who has attuned his mind to God becomes beautiful and he earns good reputation in the world. ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਚਿੱਤ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ
ਆਇਆ ਗਇਆ ਮੁਇਆ ਨਾਉ ॥ aa-i-aa ga-i-aa mu-i-aa naa-o. He came and departed from this world, even his name has been forgotten. ਉਹ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਆਇਆ ਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਗਿਆ, (ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਨਾਮ ਭੀ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਿਆ, آئِیاگئِیامُئِیاناءُ انسان پیدا ہوا اور چلا گیااس کا نام تک بھلا دیا گیا ۔ ਪਿਛੈ ਪਤਲਿ ਸਦਿਹੁ ਕਾਵ
ਸਸੁਰੈ ਪੇਈਐ ਤਿਸੁ ਕੰਤ ਕੀ ਵਡਾ ਜਿਸੁ ਪਰਵਾਰੁ ॥ sasurai pay-ee-ai tis kant kee vadaa jis parvaar. In this world and in the next, the soul-bride can live only on the support of her Husband God, Who has such a vast family. ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਪਤੀ ਦਾ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਪਰਵਾਰ ਹੈ, ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਉਸੇ ਦੇ
ਕਾਮਿ ਕਰੋਧਿ ਨ ਮੋਹੀਐ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਲੋਭੁ ਸੁਆਨੁ ॥ kaam karoDh na mohee-ai binsai lobh su-aan. Lust and anger shall not seduce you, and the dog like greed shall depart. ਕਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਗੁਮਰਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਲਚ ਦਾ ਕੁੱਤਾ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਏਗਾ। کامِکرودھِنموہیِئےَبِنسےَلوبھُسُیانُ شہوت اور غصہ ان پر اثر انداز نہیں ہو اور کتا
