ਗਣਤ ਗਣਾਵਣਿ ਆਈਆ ਸੂਹਾ ਵੇਸੁ ਵਿਕਾਰੁ ॥ ganat ganaavan aa-ee-aa soohaa vays vikaar. ۔ All of them have come to be counted as his true beloveds but their holy looking red robes are useless. ਪਰ ਜੇਹੜੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿੰਗਾਰ ਦਾ ਵਿਖਾਵਾ-ਮਾਣ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਗੂੜ੍ਹਾ ਲਾਲ ਪਹਿਰਾਵਾ (ਭੀ) ਵਿਕਾਰ (ਹੀ) ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, گنھتگنھاۄنھِآئیِیاسوُہاۄیسُۄِکارُ॥ ۔
ਭਾਈ ਰੇ ਸਾਚੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸੇਵ ॥ bhaa-ee ray saachee satgur sayv. O brother, true (and most fruitful) is the teachings of the true Guru, ਹੇ ਵੀਰ! ਕੇਵਲ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਟਹਿਲ-ਸੇਵਾ ਹੀ ਸਤਿ ਹੈ। بھائیِرےساچیِستِگُرسیۄ اے برادران ملت خدا رسیدگانوں سنونجاتآزادیچھٹکارہ سچے نام سے ہے ۔ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤੁਠੈ ਪਾਈਐ ਪੂਰਨ ਅਲਖ ਅਭੇਵ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਬੰਧਨ ਮੁਕਤੁ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਮੇਰੀ ਰਾਖੈ ਮਮਤਾ ॥੩॥ banDhan mukat santahu mayree raakhai mamtaa. ||3|| But O’ saints, I know that out of His fatherly affection, He will liberate me from worldly bonds. ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! ਪਿਤਾ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਬੰਧਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ بنّدھنمُکتُسنّتہُمیریِراکھےَممتا )اے میرے پتا خدا
ਨਾਨਕ ਧੰਨੁ ਸੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਜਿਨ ਸਹ ਨਾਲਿ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥੪॥੨੩॥੯੩॥ naanak Dhan sohaaganee jin sah naal pi-aar. ||4||23||93|| O’ Nanak, blessed are those soul-brides who have true love for their groom. ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀਆਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ (ਬਣ ਗਿਆ) ਹੈ l نانکدھنّنُسوہاگنھیِجِنسہنالِپِیارُ اے نانک وہ انسان خوش قسمت ہے جن کا اپنے
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਗਹਿਰ ਗਭੀਰੁ ਹੈ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਅਘਖੰਡੁ ॥ satgur gahir gabheer hai sukh saagar agh-khand. The true Guru is like a deep and profound ocean of peace and destroyer of sins. ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ (ਮਾਨੋ), ਇਕ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਵੱਡੇ ਜਿਗਰੇ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ستِگُرُگہِرگبھیِرُہےَسُکھساگرُاگھکھنّڈُ گنبھیر ۔سنجیدہ
ਸੰਤਾ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮੁ ਬਖਸਿੰਦੁ ॥ santaa sangat man vasai parabh pareetam bakhsind. In the Society of the Saints, the all merciful beloved God comes to dwell within the mind. ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਣਹਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ। سنّتاسنّگتِمنِۄسےَپ٘ربھُپ٘ریِتمُبکھسِنّدُ صحبت و قربت پاکدامن خدا رسیدگان پیار ارحمان الرحیم ۔بخشند
ਐਥੈ ਮਿਲਹਿ ਵਡਾਈਆ ਦਰਗਹਿ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਥਾਉ ॥੩॥ aithai mileh vadaa-ee-aa dargahi paavahi thaa-o. ||3|| (In this way), youwould obtain glory in this world and honor in God’s court. ਇਸ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ (ਸਭ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੇ) ਆਦਰ-ਮਾਣ ਮਿਲਣਗੇ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਦਰਗਹ ਵਿਚ ਭੀ ਆਦਰ ਪਾਏਂਗਾ l ایَتھےَمِلہِۄڈائیِیادرگہِپاۄہِتھاءُ س سے اس جہان میں عظمت و شہرت ملتی ہے
ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹ ਪਰੀਤਿ ਧ੍ਰਿਗੁ ਸੁਖੀ ਨ ਦੀਸੈ ਕੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ maa-i-aa moh pareet Dharig sukhee na deesai ko-ay. ||1|| rahaa-o. Accursed is emotional attachment and love of Maya; no one in love with Maya is seen to be at peace. ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਮੋਹ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਫਿਟਕਾਰ-ਜੋਗ ਹੈ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਫਸਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ)

ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇ ॥ mayray man har har naam Dhi-aa-ay. O’ my mind meditate on the name of God with love and devotion. ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਸਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰ। میرےمنہرِہرِنامُدھِیاءِ اے میرے من الہٰی نام یاد کر ਨਾਮੁ ਸਹਾਈ ਸਦਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਆਗੈ ਲਏ ਛਡਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ naam sahaa-ee sadaa
