ਅਪਣੇ ਜੀਅ ਤੈ ਆਪਿ ਸਮ੍ਹਾਲੇ ਆਪਿ ਲੀਏ ਲੜਿ ਲਾਈ ॥੧੫॥ apnay jee-a tai aap samHaalay aap lee-ay larh laa-ee. ||15|| You Yourself take care of Your beings; You Yourself attach them to the hem of Your robe. ||15|| O’ God, You Yourself take care of Your creatures, and You Yourself have united them with You.

ਪਾਰਸ ਪਰਸੇ ਫਿਰਿ ਪਾਰਸੁ ਹੋਏ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਅਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ॥੨॥ paaras parsay fir paaras ho-ay har jee-o apnee kirpaa Dhaaree. ||2|| Just as a piece of metal becomes Gold by coming in contact with the mythical philosopher’s stone, similarly one on whom the reverend God bestows His grace, he acquires the Guru’s virtues by
ਕਾਇਆ ਨਗਰੀ ਸਬਦੇ ਖੋਜੇ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਵੰ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਈ ॥੨੨॥ kaa-i-aa nagree sabday khojay naam navaN niDh paa-ee. ||22|| One who keeps evaluating his life through the Guru’s word, attains the treasure of God’s Name. ||22|| ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਰੀਰ-ਨਗਰ(ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਪੜਤਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਲੱਭ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ
ਏਹੁ ਜੋਗੁ ਨ ਹੋਵੈ ਜੋਗੀ ਜਿ ਕੁਟੰਬੁ ਛੋਡਿ ਪਰਭਵਣੁ ਕਰਹਿ ॥ ayhu jog na hovai jogee je kutamb chhod parbhavan karahi.
