ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੇ ਕੀਨਾ ਰਿਦੈ ਨਿਵਾਸੁ ॥੩॥ gur sabday keenaa ridai nivaas. ||3|| The Word of the Guru’s Shabad has come to dwell within my heart. ||3|| and through the Guru’s word (God) has come to reside in my heart. ||3|| (ਜਿਸ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ) ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਕਰਦਾ
ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਸਦਾ ਸਦ ਅਟਲਾ ॥ gur kaa sabad sadaa sad atlaa. The Word of the Guru’s Shabad is unchanging, forever and ever. Irrefutable ever and forever is the word of the Guru (whatever the Guru says that happens for sure). ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਅਟੱਲ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਕਦੇ ਉਕਾਈ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ)। گُرکاسبدُسداسداٹلا॥
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਧਿਆਈ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਇਆ ॥ aath pahar paarbarahm Dhi-aa-ee sadaa sadaa gun gaa-i-aa. Twenty-four hours a day, I meditate on the Supreme Lord God; I sing His Glorious Praises forever and ever. (O’ my friends), at all times I meditate on the all pervading God and I have been always singing
ਕਿਰਤ ਸੰਜੋਗੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਭਾਲਿ ॥ kirat sanjogee paa-i-aa bhaal. By pre-ordained destiny, I have searched and found God. in our destiny, (which is based on our past deeds), then we find Him, by searching for Him ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਜੋਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ) ਢੂੰਢ ਕੇ ਲੱਭ ਲਈਦਾ ਹੈ। کِرتسنّجوگیِپائِیابھالِ॥ کرت۔ اعمال۔
