ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਕਿਉ ਮੁਕਰਿ ਪਇਆ ਜਾਇ ॥ sabh kichh sundaa vaykh-daa ki-o mukar pa-i-aa jaa-ay. God sees and hears everything (we do or say), so how can anyone can Him. ਮਨਮੁਖ ਜਨਮੁ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਗਇਆ ਕਿਆ ਮੁਹੁ ਦੇਸੀ ਜਾਇ ॥੩॥ manmukh janam birthaa ga-i-aa ki-aa muhu daysee jaa-ay. ||3|| In this way, the life of these self-willed people is wasted. ਸਬਦਿ ਮੰਨਿਐ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਇ ॥ sabad mani-ai gur paa-ee-ai vichahu aap gavaa-ay. Only when one obeys the Guru’s word and removes self conceit, then one realizes God, the ultimate Guru.
