ਪਉੜੀ ॥ pa-orhee. Pauree: ਠਠਾ ਮਨੂਆ ਠਾਹਹਿ ਨਾਹੀ ॥ thathaa manoo-aa thaaheh naahee. T’HAT’HA: They do not make trouble for anyone’s mind, They do not hurt anyone’s feelings for worldly goods. ٹھٹھامنوُیاٹھاہہِناہیِ ٹھاہے ۔ گراتا نہیں۔۔ جو انسان کسی کے دل کو ایذا نہیں پہنچاتے ਜੋ ਸਗਲ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਏਕਹਿ ਲਪਟਾਹੀ ॥ jo sagal ti-aag aykeh
ਅਪਨੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਹੁ ਭਗਵੰਤਾ ॥ apnee kirpaa karahu bhagvantaa. Please shower me with Your Mercy, O’ God! اپنیِک٘رِپاکرہُبھگۄنّتا॥ بھگونتا ۔ اے خدا۔ اے خدا مجھ پر اپنی رحمت فرما ਛਾਡਿ ਸਿਆਨਪ ਬਹੁ ਚਤੁਰਾਈ ॥ chhaad si-aanap baho chaturaa-ee. I have given up my excessive cleverness and scheming, چھاڈِسِیانپبہُچتُرائیِ॥ سیانپ ۔ دانشمندی ۔ عقل۔ چترائی ۔

See, that even by calculating and scheming in their minds, people must surely depart in the end. گنِمِنِدیکھہُمنےَماہِسرپرچلنولوگ॥ گن مون ۔ سوچ سمجھ ۔ گن او رشمار کر لو۔ اور منتی کر لو
ਪਉੜੀ ॥ pa-orhee. Pauree: پئُڑیِ॥ (پوڑی ) (پوڑی ) ਯਯਾ ਜਾਰਉ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਦੋਊ ॥ ya-yaa jaara-o durmat do-oo. YAYYA: Burn away duality and evil-mindedness. Burn away duality, evil-mindedness and love for Maya (attachments). ززاجارءُدُرمتِدوئوُ॥ جارو۔ جلاؤ۔ درمت۔ کھوٹیسمجھ ۔ دوؤ۔ دوئش ۔ دوئی ۔ بری سمجھ اور دوئش و دولت کی محبت جلا ڈالو ۔
ਪਉੜੀ ॥ pa-orhee. Pauree: پئُڑیِ॥ (پوڑی) (پوڑی ) ਰੇ ਮਨ ਬਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਜਹ ਰਚਹੁ ਤਹ ਤਹ ਬੰਧਨ ਪਾਹਿ ॥ ray man bin har jah rachahu tah tah banDhan paahi. O’ my mind, except God, whatever you become attached would put you in more bonds of Maya. ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਜਿਥੇ ਜਿਥੇ
ਨਾਮ ਬਿਹੂਨੇ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਹੋਤ ਜਾਤ ਸਭੁ ਧੂਰ ॥੧॥ naam bihoonay naankaa hot jaat sabh Dhoor. ||1|| O’ Nanak, all those who are without the wealth of God’s Name are being reduced to dust. ||1|| ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਸੱਖਣਾ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। نامبِہوُنےنانکاہوتجاتسبھُدھوُر॥੧॥ نام بہونے ۔ نام کے بغیر۔ ہوت
