ਸੁੰਦਰੁ ਸੁਘੜੁ ਸੁਜਾਣੁ ਬੇਤਾ ਗੁਣ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਅਮੁਲਿਆ ॥ sundar sugharh sujaan baytaa gun govind amuli-aa. The Master-God of the universe is beautiful, wise and omniscient; His virtues arepriceless. ਹੇ ਸਹੇਲੀਏ! ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਹੈ,, ਸੁਜਾਨ ਹੈ,ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਕਿਸੇ ਮੁੱਲ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦੇ। سُنّدرُسُگھڑُسُجانھُبیتاگُنھگوۄِنّدامُلِیا॥ بیتا ۔ جاننے ۔
ਇਕ ਓਟ ਕੀਜੈ ਜੀਉ ਦੀਜੈ ਆਸ ਇਕ ਧਰਣੀਧਰੈ ॥ ik ot keejai jee-o deejai aas ik DharneeDharai. We should seek only the support of God, surrender our mind to Him, and pin one’s hope on Him who is the supporter of the universe. ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣਾ ਆਪ ਉਸਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ

ਆਪਣੀ ਲਿਵ ਆਪੇ ਲਾਏ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਦਾ ਸਮਾਲੀਐ ॥ aapnee liv aapay laa-ay gurmukh sadaa samaalee-ai. God Himself instills His love, therefore following the Guru’s teachings, we should always keep remembering Him with love and devotion. ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
